The brief – design and produce an international touring exhibition that celebrates and showcases the creativity of WoW and incorporates 32 award-winning garments.
We provided – spatial design | graphic design | content development | production & installation | delivery management
Bringing together the team’s expertise in the design and delivery of national and international touring exhibitions, we developed an exhibition that is both theatrical and functional. Designed to ‘fold’ into a single shipping container, the garment runways and projection screens were developed to take up the smallest space for transportation, and provide the greatest impact in galleries of 700–800 sqm. A second container is filled with carefully packed and crated garments, a system we designed to keep them safe as they travel the world, capturing the attention of artists, fashion designers and visitors alike.
The exhibition has exceeded projected visitor numbers in every venue to date. The flexible, contemporary system lets visitors get close to the garments so they can better appreciate the commitment of each designer to their art form. Audiences can immerse themselves in the theatricality of the WOW show and gain a taste of the creativity of WoW as an organisation.
