We valued the opportunity to work with representatives of Ngāi Tahu to tell their past and present stories of the Lake Pukaki area through this significant project. Ngāi Tahu artist and designer Ross Hemera was commissioned to create a significant artwork that anchors the visitor centre to the site and the stories that it holds. 

Meridian Energy was a major partner in this project, working with all parties to gain the best outcome.
