The brief – design a space to display the Wildlife photography exhibition from the Natural History Museum, London, alongside a series of New Zealand Geographic photographer of the year images. The exhibitions needed to feel integrated and to contain shared environments for hands-on activities, a lounge space and pop-up store.
We provided – spatial design | specialist production for the image forest, backlit tables and crawl-through camera activity
The Wildlife exhibition came as a touring package of framed images, with a standardised method of delivery and curation, while the NZ-Life series of images were able to be enhanced through use of scale and display systems like the ‘image forest’, which provided an opportunity for visitors to move through the space, and view dramatically lit images set on the top of plinths.
